What a great start to 2018! We were fortunate to share some wonderful learning with two very special Keating presenters. A huge thank you to Dr. Mark Sherman, Keating Parent and Facilitator of the Art of Living Mindfully, who delivered a very hands-on and informative workshop for parents at Keating on Saturday, February 3rd. This mindful parenting workshop explored neuroscience, stress management and mindfulness strategies to become more skillful in our role as parents.
We also give a big round of applause to Teddy Anderson, Hoop Dancer, who provided a week long series of workshops for students in Indigenous Hoop Dancing. Students engaged fully in the dances that celebrated diversity, kindness and respect. This incredible learning experience was generously funded by the Keating Home and School Association.
As February is heart month and officially Family Day in B.C.
