PENINSULA TRACK & FIELD CLUB:  For several years, Peninsula Track and Field Club has run a program for 6 to 8 year olds (born 2010, 2011, 2012) in which they are introduced to the basic physical skills of running, jumping and throwing, all of which are the basis of most sports. This year the program will be run at the Parkland School Track on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15 to 5:15 pm. The start date is April 3 and the last session will be on April 26, 2018.  See the attached PDF for more information.

PENINSULA  SOCCER INFORMATION:  Spring Soccer Program runs Monday nights from April 9 to June 4.  More information can be found on their website:  http://www.peninsulasoccer.ca/

FOSTER PARENT SUPPORT SERVICES SOCIETY:  Our organization is non-profit and offers support for Foster Parents in many different ways, but right now more importantly we are recruiting for much needed foster homes. Every child deserves to be in a safe and nurturing home. Many children and youth on Vancouver Island today are not able to live with their families. They need a temporary home, a safe haven in their community where they can stay while they and their families heal and become strong again.  It begins with a phone call. Not a lifetime commitment, not a promise to save the world. Just one phone call to say you might be able to offer a safe place for a child or youth to stay while they and their family heal and become strong again.  Maybe fostering is something you’ve never thought of; maybe it’s something you’ve thought about for a long time; maybe now is the time. It starts with just one.  See attached PDF for more information.
