GREATER VICTORIA PUBLIC LIBRARY (GVPL) SUMMER READING CLUB:  Regular reading over the summer helps kids maintain or improve their reading skills. It also helps to encourage reading as a lifelong activity. The 2018 BC Summer Reading Club theme is Motion Commotion. Kids taking part in this program will track their reading with a self-paced reading record and earn weekly incentives including stickers, pizza vouchers and recreation passes. Last year, more than 8,000 kids participated in the BC Summer Reading Club – an impressive record we aim to beat this year!  Check out the GVPL for more information:  Summer Reading Club
