Every year on Valentine's Day Keating students go outside and participate in the Buddy Run. This event also is combined with Jump Rope for Heart and the students have the opportunity to skip or to run and to do this with a Buddy. When you watch the video you will notice lots of kids running, skipping, walking and having fun.
To celebrate Carnival, Keating students brought in ice blocks to make a big snowflake.

Our resident in artist came and taught Keating Elementary how to hoop dance, but he taught us much more than that. He taught us how to get along as part of a bigger world. Classes dancing in this part are Thomason, De Boer, Parent, Fraser, Stewart, Jones/Haines, and Receveaux.

Central Saanich Police came to Keating to collect the cruisers filled with toys donated by Keating Families.
