A few quick mid-week reminders/notes:
- As the rainy weather heads our way, a reminder that children should be dressed head to toe for outside play in the rain. Additionally, it is a good idea to send a change of clothes in a plastic bag in their backpack. We may not go out in absolute downpours, but as we live in a temperate rain forest we will be heading outside on most rainy days.
- If you have not yet done so, please sign and return to each of your children's classroom teachers, one of the pink health check forms. Please keep one of these forms at home for reference when performing daily health checks.
- Other than for prearranged meetings or cases of emergency, parents should not be entering the school, but instead phoning the office from outside the front door so that we can help you while minimizing the number of people entering the building. The school's phone number is 250 652 9261, and this is also posted on signs at each of the main entrances of the school. In cases of emergency or meeting in the building, facial coverings are required by adults where physical distancing cannot be maintained.
- Finally, we are not legally able to have students arrive at the school without parents prior to the start of supervision time at 8:25, nor remaining at school unsupervised past the end of supervision at 3:05. We have had a few instances of both in the past weeks, and am sorry to say that we are not in the position to allow this.
