As we enter into the most unusual Spring Break in my experience, I wanted to share a few things:
- Please keep an eye on the school district's website for any updates pertaining to COVID-19 and schools.
- All schools will receive extra and extensive cleaning during the 2 week closure. This is why your children will likely have brought more of their things home today than you were expecting. Removing these items temporarily will allow cleaning of more surfaces in our classrooms and work spaces. Please do have your child bring all their items back after the break.
- The school district has created a resource for talking to children about COVID-19. It has tips for speaking to children at various ages as well as other related resources. Here is the link.
I have greatly enjoyed my first 7 months at Keating, and look forward to seeing everyone energized and ready to go for the last term of our school year. I hope that everyone has a safe, happy, and healthy Spring Break.
