A huge thank you to all who have shared images of family members who have served or are currently serving our country. These photos have grown into a display that has outgrown our display case and has been relocated to the window in the library and is now on display for the community to see by the Gagaball pits. Please do find a moment to come and take a look from the blacktop area outside the library, while maintaining physical distancing, of course. The display has become a powerful symbol of community and the massive sacrifice that has gone into creating the country and world in which we live.
We have a very nice Remembrance Day assembly planned for Tuesday. This assembly will happen via video so that classes can attend from their classrooms. Unfortunately, we cannot share this stream to the greater community due to privacy laws.
Thank you, as well, to all those who have become used to the routine of remaining outside the school for the safety of all in our learning community. A reminder to please respect the stop signs at the entrances to the building and to call the office from outside if you are coming to pick up a child or need to communicate with somebody inside the school. Please do not walk into the school to speak to staff in the office.
Have a great weekend!
